Engineers from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technology Department conduct a test on a protective helmet in the anechoic chamber. Anechoic chambers are designed to completely absorb sound or electromagnetic waves inside the room; and also to keep out exterior noises.
Test Range Noise Alerts

24 - 28 JUL:  Indian Head and EOD Stump Neck Sites will conduct operations between 7a.m. – 7p.m. Operations have the potential to produce some noise, high bright flames and heavy smoke in the surrounding communities and waterways.
